2021 NFL Mock Draft: Mac Jones explodes into top 5 in final edition
Caleb Farley missed a lot of time during his college career with injuries and that might scare some teams away. If he didn’t have a history of injuries, he’d probably be somewhere around the 10-15 range, but I can see Farley dropping to No. 19 here as Washington needs a cornerback.
There’s a chance this could be the final cornerback chosen in the first round and he might end up being the most successful of the bunch if he can prove that he can stay healthy.
Farley was a first-team All-ACC member in 2019 before he missed the final two games of the season due to an injury and opted out of the 2020 season to prepare for the NFL draft. He’s been regarded as a first-rounder ever since.
The Virginia Tech cornerback could start right away for the Washington Football Team and he looked like a future star in his sophomore season with the Hokies. He had 20 tackles, four interceptions, and 12 pass breakups. This is a lockdown corner and there are a number of teams hoping he drops to them.
