The Steelers are in need of an interior offensive lineman and Alijah Vera-Tucker from USC is probably the best one in the class.

Pittsburgh needs someone to protect Ben Roethlisberger on the interior and Vera-Tucker could be the best option out there. He stands 6-foot-4 and 315 pounds and while he may not have the versatility to play out as a tackle, he could be one of the best interior linemen in the past few drafts.

Vera-Tucker had quite the career with USC, starting at left guard after redshirting in 2017 and then earning second-team All-Pac-12 honors in 2019. He improved as a redshirt junior after deciding to come back for one more season, earning first-team All-Pac-12 honors and winning the Morris Trophy which is given annually to the Pac-12’s best lineman.

Big Ben would love this kind of protection if Najee Harris isn’t around at No. 24.
