2021 NFL Mock Draft: Mac Jones explodes into top 5 in final edition
Yes, another offensive lineman going in the first round and this is another guy who I may have pegged as a second-rounder earlier in the draft process, but I could see Wyatt Davis slipping into the back-end of the first round.

What would make this selection even more intriguing is the fact that Urban Meyer recruited Wyatt Davis back in high school when he was a five-star in the 2017 class and he attended Ohio State where he coached him for two seasons. Davis redshirted in 2017 and then played in all 14 games in 2018.
So this pick would make sense as the two are very familiar with each other.
Plus, this could be the first step in protecting Trevor Lawrence.
The 6-foot-4, 315-pound interior offensive lineman might be 1B to Alijah Vera-Tucker’s 1A and the Jaguars desperately need help on the offensive line, namely at one of the guard spots.
Some draft experts see Davis falling to rounds 2-3, but I see him slipping into the first and reuniting with Urban in Jacksonville. It just makes sense.
