Scouting Report. Oregon. player. 56. Pick Analysis. OT. Penei Sewell. 5

The best offensive lineman in this year’s draft class will go No. 5 overall to the team that needs a tackle the most.

Joe Burrow suffered an injury last season that may have been prevented with better line play which would have led to less hits taken throughout the year. It’s pretty clear that the Bengals could use a lineman who could play either left tackle or left guard but they might try to get fancy and go after a receiver.

Ja’Marr Chase would also make sense here because Burrow and him formed a solid connection in their time together at LSU, but the Bengals just need to go safe and pick a guy who was dubbed by some scouts as a “future Hall of Famer” at tackle.

Sewell is going to be in the league for a long time and why not in Cincinnati? The Bengals would be foolish to pass up the Pro Bowl talent for some flash.
