From one Moore to another, Elijah Moore was one of my favorite receivers in this class and I actually had him ahead of Kadarius Toney on my board.

As we know now, Toney went to the Giants in the middle of the first round, joining Kenny Golladay in an improving receiving corps. Moore would have also been a good pick there, but he slipped from the mid-to-late first-round range where I saw him going and he’s the best offensive player left on the board — or he should be, at least.

Moore had a career season as a junior for Ole Miss, benefitting from a quarterback with a pulse throwing him the ball. He and Matt Corral connected 86 times for 1,193 yards and eight touchdowns. He looked like one of the best receivers in the SEC and helped lead Ole Miss out of the gutter.

In three years with the Rebels, he finished with 189 receptions for 2,441 yards and 21 touchdowns. He got better each season and was as sure-handed as they come.

One lucky team is going to get a first-round talent at receiver early in round two.
