Mond to Minnesota

At this point, I don’t think anyone in Minnesota really believes that Kirk Cousins is the answer at quarterback. He’s been with the Vikings for three seasons and has led them to just one playoff berth in that time.

It’s safe to say Cousins wasn’t worth the money. But either way, he has two years left on his deal, which could give Mond the time he needs to develop into an NFL starter.

Minnesota was probably interested in Mond for a few reasons. For one, he’s played a lot of football and won a lot of games. At least there’s more of a sample size than with someone like Davis Mills.

Mond also played in the SEC, which is the most talented league in the country. He also ran for more than 1,600 yards. and 25 touchdowns during his college career. He’s got the tools to be good, the Vikings just have to get the best out of him.
