Justin Fields and the 5 biggest steals from 2021 NFL Draft
3. Azeez Ojulari- 50th overall to the New York Giants
One of the most surprising things on the first night of the draft was that Georgia’s Azeez Ojulari was not one of the first pass rushers off of the board and he slipped into the second round.
It looked as if Ojulari might fall even further, but the New York Giants made sure that the talented pass rusher fell no further and took him with the 50th overall pick.
Ojulari has one of the best first steps in his pass rush and is quick to get around the edge and to the quarterback. I was surprised that Ojulari fell all the way to the second round, but he will have a chance to prove the other teams wrong.
The Giants are a team that is hoping for a playoff push in 2021 and one of the things that they wanted to fix in the offseason was their lack of a pass rush.
Ojulari should be able to give the team some athleticism and pass rush and help them on their quest to take back the NFC East. Look for Ojulari to finish near the top in rookie sack production.
