2. Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah- 52nd overall to the Cleveland Browns

One of the biggest mysteries on the first night of the draft was why Notre Dame linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah was still on the board when the first round concluded.

Thought to be one of the best defensive players in the whole draft, it was unbelievable that Koramoah was able to be passed on by every team in the first round. It was almost as surprising that he was not one of the first picks off the board once the second round commenced. He fell far enough that the Cleveland Browns thought to trade up for him and he was off the board at 52.

Koramoah is one of the most athletic linebackers in the draft and he should be able to thrive in the Browns defense. He is a bit of a hybrid player, in that he can play both weakside linebacker and safety, and excel at both. He is one of the most versatile players that the Browns have on their defense and if he can exceed expectations in 2021, the Browns could be a super bowl contender.
