3. Kadarius Toney, No. 20 to the Giants

Calling Kadarius Toney a reach might be a surprise to some, but I think that the former Florida Gator was taken a little early. He’s one of the most versatile weapons in the draft and can be lined up anywhere across the field and for a guy of his size, is incredibly hard to tackle and bring down.

The New York Giants needed to add some explosiveness to their offense, but taking Toney 20th overall is a reach. The Giants already had Sterling Shepherd, Kenny Golladay, and Darius Slayton, as well as tight end Evan Engram.

I think that it will be hard to get Toney the ball as much as he needs with the other receivers that the Giants have. I’m also not confident in offensive coordinator Jason Garrett being creative enough to use Toney effectively in this offense. I also think Elijah Moore from Ole Miss and Rashod Bateman were the better picks at receiver.

Overall, I think Toney has the ability, but should not have been the 20th pick.
