The SEC West, per usual, will not be for the faint of heart during the 2021 college football season.

Taking a peek at the schools in the SEC West, there appears to be only one team that will truly be terrible, and that is the Arkansas Razorbacks. With that said, a division with six formidable programs out of seven cannot be taken lightly. And did I mention that one of those six is Alabama, which is coming off of what was arguably their most dominant run ever in 2020?

We are also bound to see sizable improvements for the programs that have 2nd-year head coaches, such as Ole Miss with Lane Kiffin and Mississippi State with Mike Leach. Auburn and Arkansas are the only ones with a cause for concern with their new faces at HC, but just because 2021 isn’t their year does not mean that they will have nothing to look upon with hope for the further future.

To put it simply, this division is absolutely no joke for the season to come. So without further ado, here are the projected standings for the SEC West heading into the 2021 college football season.

#7: Arkansas Razorbacks

As previously established, the Hogs are the only ones in the West that will be really bad, leaving a noticeable gap between them and 6th place on this list.

Head coach Sam Pittman went 3-7 in his first year with the Razorbacks, which could have certainly been worse, considering the conference-only schedule that the SEC enforced last season due to the ongoing COVID-19 dilemma.

However, Arkansas is easily the furthest from glory in their division, and there are just too many roadblocks on their upcoming schedule for them to get anywhere in 2021.
