4. Jermaine Johnson, DE Florida State

Johnson is the kind of talent Florida State used to get regularly and landing the pass rusher from Georgia out of the transfer portal was a huge win for the Noles, even bigger than Milton at QB.

Over the past two seasons, Johnson had 6.5 sacks for Georgia but it feels like he’s capable of a lot more. At 6-foot-5, 260 pounds, Johnson was a standout this spring for Florida State and it wouldn’t be surprising if he surpassed that sack total of 6.5 in 2021.

3. Wan’Dale Robinson

If you look at Wan’Dale Robinson’s numbers over the past two seasons, you might wonder why he’s so high on this list. But the truth is that Robinson, a former top-100 recruit from Kentucky, just was limited by some of the personnel around him at Nebraska.

Kentucky has had QB issues too over the years, however, there is some buzz about Joey Gatewood this spring, as well as some about Robinson, including Barrett Sallee who tabbed Robinson as a potential Heisman contender.

Robinson is a modern-day Randall Cobb, except he doesn’t play quarterback. He’ll be a nightmare in the slot and every time he touches the football next season.
