2. Henry To’o To’o

Henry To’o To’o was one of the top targets in the transfer portal for just about every team. Finally, he chose Alabama just a few days ago after many thought he was headed to Ohio State.

One question looming was whether the SEC was going to allow players who transferred within the league to play right away the next season. To’o To’o going to Alabama could be an indication of where that’s headed.

At any rate, as long as he plays next season, he’s going to make an impact. The former top-50 recruit was an All-SEC linebacker as a freshman and led Tennessee in tackles last season.

Alabama should be better on defense next season, and has more depth at linebacker, but not enough that To’o To’o won’t make an immediate impact — as long as he’s eligible to play.

1. Eric Gray, RB Oklahoma

Gray to Oklahoma is one of the best fits in the transfer portal. He rushed for more than 1,300 yards in two seasons with Tennessee while also catching 30 passes. Gray will be an absolute star under Lincoln Riley and he’s got multiple years of eligibility.

Here’s a tidbit on what Gray has done this spring from Last Word on Sports:

"“Gray came in as one of the better backs in the SEC last year. That has transitioned over to Oklahoma in the Spring as the noise gets louder and louder by the day on how impressive he has been.”"

Gray is going to have to beat out Kennedy Brooks and that won’t be easy. But both backs are going to get plenty of touches and teams all across the country will wish Gray was part of their backfield after watching him run wild with the Sooners.
