2. David Moore, OG, Grambling State (Panthers)

David Moore was the highest-rated HBCU prospect coming into this draft. However, instead of playing this spring and waiting for the 2022 NFL Draft, he accepted an invitation to the Senior Bowl and declared for the 2021 NFL Draft.

Despite playing only two years of high school football, Moore was an All-State lineman at McClellan High School in Little Rock, Ark. While at Grambling, Moore played as a freshman and became a starter as a sophomore.

His play as a junior got the attention of NFL scouts and aided in his Senior Bowl invite despite Grambling’s fall season being canceled.

Because Moore has played just five years of football, there is some technical development needed. However, the physical traits are off the charts. Moore is a nasty, physical blocker who wants to put defenders down in either pass protection or run blocking.

Moore is a massive young man with elite physical and athletic traits. In addition, Moore has freakishly long arms, despite being around 6-foot-2.  Carolina will love the versatility as Moore can play both guard spots and center.

If Moore can be more technically sound, there is no reason he won’t be a solid starter for a decade barring injury. At worst, Moore becomes a spot starter and utility back up in the NFL.
