3-star athlete Jaren Kanak

Talking about top recruits in the Midwest, Nebraska football is in the mix for the top recruit in the state of Kansas, Jaren Kanak.

The 6-foot-2, 210-pound athlete has started to see his recruitment go national. And even though he’s ranked as a three-star recruit and No. 487 overall, his potential has Clemson and other top programs interested.

Kanak is going to visit Kansas, Kansas State, Nebraska, Iowa, and Washington State, but is also going to take an unofficial visit on June 1 to Clemson.

He’s a freakish track athlete and could be a defensive back, a linebacker, or potentially even a wide receiver for the Huskers. Nebraska has beaten out Clemson for some in-state recruits before but the Tigers appear to have his interest and his unofficial visit there will be telling.
