3. Brock Purdy, QB

Brock Purdy returns to Iowa State as one of the most experienced quarterbacks in the country and is looking to take the next step in 2021.

Purdy came into the 2020 season with very high expectations and fell a bit short of them. While he did lead the Cyclones to an appearance in the Big 12 title game, Purdy was very inconsistent from game to game, especially early on in the season.

Unfortunately, Purdy saw his yards per attempt fall from 8.4 to 7.5 and his quarterback rating also fell.

The gunslinger was once seen as one of the top quarterback prospects in the country, but that has dropped off significantly and Purdy is going to have to have a very good season to get back to being a possible first or second-round pick. He has good arm talent and is an accurate quarterback, he just needs more consistency.

Right now I think that he is a fourth or fifth-round quarterback, but there is room to grow.
