2. Charlie Kolar, TE

One of the nation’s best tight ends for the past couple of seasons, Iowa State’s Charlie Kolar is back for yet another season as he tries to get the Cyclones back to the Big 12 title game and potentially even further.

Kolar has been the primary receiving threat for the Cyclones the past few seasons and 2021 should be no exception. He has posted two straight seasons of seven touchdowns and at least 44 or more catches. He is one of the best tight ends in the country and this season could end up being his best.

If Kolar had come out for the 2021 NFL Draft, I think that he could have been among the top tight ends drafted. He would not have been a first-round pick, but I think that there is potential for him to reach that level. I expect an All-Big 12 season from the Cyclones tight end and for him to be one of the first tight ends taken in the 2022 NFL Draft.
