1. Breece Hall, RB

One of the top returning players in the country this season will be Iowa State running back Breece Hall. He had one of the biggest breakout seasons for any player in the country in 2021, rushing for over 1,500 yards and 21 touchdowns.

Hall should be considered an early Heisman candidate this season and he is one of the reasons that Cyclones fans have big expectations heading into 2021.

It can be tough to project where running backs will get drafted because of their position. Hall has good speed and pulls away from defenders for big runs and has good size. If he were to improve on his 2020 season and possibly go for around 2,000 yards, some team could take Hall in the first round.

I think that Hall projects as a Day 2 pick now, but could rise with a stellar season.
