Florida State Seminoles: Deion Sanders, CB

This is what most people would call a “change of pace.” Florida State is the first if not only ACC football team on this list who can practically bathe in the noteworthy talent that they have produced over the years.

In my personal opinion, Deion Sanders is the greatest (and certainly the coolest) cornerback to ever be seen on an NFL gridiron, but he was great at FSU as well. With the Noles, Sanders was a 2x unanimous All-American, and he later had his #2 retired by the football program.

All of this was followed by him being drafted 5th overall in the 1989 NFL Draft, being selected to eight Pro Bowls, and winning two Super Bowls.

Throughout this entire stretch, he proved to be one of the most versatile players in NFL history, having great success as not only a defensive back but also as a return specialist and sometimes even a wide receiver. “Prime Time” is quite possibly the greatest and most decorated player that you will see on this list.
