Leddie Brown. player. 877. Running Back. Senior. 4. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

*Heisman Odds +5000

West Virginia’s Leddie Brown is in the awkward position of being a stud for his team, but his production not being enough to make a difference in the win-loss column. After posting a career-high 1,212 all-purpose yards and 11 scores a season ago, the senior’s expected to have a greater impact on winning.

Neal Brown, the third-year head West Virginia football coach, plans to squeeze even more out of Leddie moving forward, though, evidenced by his quotes following the spring game.

"“I wanted to challenge our best players to continue to use spring ball as a way to get better and improve. When I say that, I’m talking about Leddie Brown, who didn’t get tackled one time this spring, but I wanted him to get better and I thought he did that. He has become such a better pass receiver and he’s so much better in pass protection.” – Neal Brown, West Virginia Head Football Coach"

Expect Leddie Brown – who tallied 199 rushes and 31 receptions a season ago – to exceed those totals in 2021.

The team surrounding him is improved, as well, particularly the offensive line. Assuming that boost elevates the team and Brown gets on a roll? Discussing the 2021 Heisman candidates would have to start in Morgantown with Brown.
