2. George Pickens, WR

One of the most talented players in the country is Georgia wide receiver George Pickens who’s a great athlete with unbelievable hands and speed and he was set to have the best season since he has been in Athens.

Pickens, unfortunately, suffered a serious knee injury during practice and appears to be ready to miss the season, although it is possible that he could return if Georgia were to make the playoff. Despite the injury, I still anticipate Pickens hearing his name called in the first round in next year’s draft.

On the surface, this upcoming wide receiver class does not appear to have as much top talent as 2021. I think this could work to Pickens’ advantage because of how talented he is from an athletic perspective. Pickens has All-American talent and I think that the raw talent should push him into the first round.
