Texas A&M football was just one win away from making the College Football Playoff a season ago. Actually, I think the Aggies would have been a better pick for the playoff field than Notre Dame, but I digress.

Jimbo Fisher is trying to figure out the formula for making the playoff field in 2021 and it could start with adding some valuable pieces in the transfer portal.

Losing some key players to the NFL, Texas A&M needs to add some veterans to fill those holes on both sides of the ball.

Which transfers should Fisher and the Aggies target this offseason in the portal?

Jimbo Fisher already picked up a transfer from an offensive lineman for 2021 in Tennessee’s Jahmir Johnson but the Aggies have needs on the line.

Trey Zuhn and Matthew Wykoff are already on campus as early enrolled linemen and Bryce Foster, Reuben Fatheree, Jordan Spasojevic-Moko, and Remington Strickland are all coming to campus this summer on the offensive line, but why not add a veteran piece up front?

Will Farrar was recruited as a guard and played backup center at Texas Tech. Smart Chibuzo is projected to start at center this season but doesn’t have a ton of experience and that’s where Farrar could come into play.

Plus Farrar was recruited by Texas A&M back in 2017 but never received an offer. Maybe the Richmond, Texas, native could come home and add depth to that line.
