The constant narrative across the country toward Big 12 football has been high-flying offenses, alongside elite quarterback play.

The conference has not had a shortage of unique and iconic signal callers, as there seems to be a few among the best in the country each season.

Even heading into this season, the Big 12 has a solidified Heisman contender in Spencer Rattler. As well as, a candidate that could very well play himself into a spot in New York in Brock Purdy.

Before we jump into this season, taking a look back at the roots of the conference and what spectacular quarterbacks the conference has featured

This list consists of players’ success during college and includes solely the current Big 12 schools. The criteria used involves individual stats, awards, and team success/impact. How long the quarterback has been with the program can also have an impact. TCU and West Virginia players will not be used until they joined the conference in 2012.
