4-star DE Dani Dennis-Sutton

If Penn State football wants to sign a top-10 recruiting class in 2022, it will take more four-star prospects and a couple of top-100 commitments — at least.

One that Penn State seems to have a very good shot at landing is four-star defensive end Dani Dennis-Sutton, a kid out of Maryland, who ranks 64th overall in the 2022 class according to the 247 sports composite rankings.

Dennis-Sutton is ranked as the No. 10 D-line prospect in the class and Brian Dohn of 247 sports broke down what he can do at the next level:

"“Athleticism exists to drop into zone coverage in special packages. Utilizes rip move well and also has a swim. Has to continue to refine technique with move-set combinations and being comfortable with different moves. Impact player at elite level program.”"

Despite being from Owings Mills, Maryland, the Terps haven’t had much chance in this recruitment, and in addition to visiting Penn State, Dennis-Sutton is going to Georgia and Alabama this month.

That’s always nerve-racking and even though all five crystal ball predictions are still with Penn State, we’ll see if it stays that way. If it does, it would be massive for Penn State.
