2. Luther Burden

Even though Burden is an Oklahoma commit currently, he made waves recently when he took his official visit to Georgia.

He also had this to say in an article by Ben Bachmann of UGASports.com (subscription required):

"“They (Georgia) think I can be a guy who can contribute my first year. Coach Hankton was saying he’s going to develop me to be the best football player and man off the field I can be. He’s always going to keep it real with me and I most definitely need somebody whose going to be honest with you all the time.”I see myself as a top target in their offense and I can bring back a natty to Georgia.”"

Burden is listed as the No. 1 receiver in the nation for 2022. The St. Louis native had 895 yards with 12 touchdowns in only eight games last season.

While watching some of his highlights, one thing that stood out was his impressive breakaway speed from defenders. That elusiveness shows why the Georgia offensive staff are trying to pry him away from the Sooners.

If Burden reverses his decision and commits to UGA, he will no doubt see action as a freshman, even with the juniors and sophomores that will be on the roster by then, such as Jermaine Burton and Adonai Mitchell. Expect Georgia to continuously push to get Burden away from Oklahoma.
