Hawaii Football is loaded with playmakers on offense in 2021

It is not a strange thing for Hawaii to have a lot of skill position players who are explosive and good quarterback play and the Warriors should have plenty of that in 2021.

Quarterback Chevan Cordeiro had a really solid 2020 season and he could be even better in 2021. Cordeiro led the Warriors in passing and rushing last season with over 2,000 yards passing and nearly 500 yards rushing. Cordeiro was oftentimes a better rusher than a passer and he is going to have to improve as a more consistent passer for the Warriors to really take off as an offense.

The rushing attack might be led by Cordeiro, but there are capable running backs on the roster as well. Jacksonville University transfer Calvin Turner was a jack of all trades player for Hawaii last season, rushing for over 300 yards and leading the team in receiving. Turner also makes for a really good kick returner as well. Dae Dae Hunter is another guy that should get a carries for the Warriors this season.

The receiving corps has its share of playmakers as well, even though Hawaii loves to spread the ball around to their running backs in the passing game and Hawaii had some guys transfer out. Jared Smart, Jonah Panoke, and Nick Mardner are going to get the starts at receiver and they should be able to get the job done.

Four of five starters on the line return and the Warriors have some good depth upfront. Hawaii has playmakers at every level and they should be a really good offense in 2021.
