2. South Carolina Gamecocks (Williams-Brice Stadium)

Three teams come to mind when I think of ones with stadiums that hold around 80,000 people: Oklahoma, Florida State, and… South Carolina?

The Gamecocks play in Williams-Brice Stadium, which is home to just over 80,000 fans, and just under the number of fans that Clemson’s “Death Valley” can bring in. It is certainly worth asking oneself if there should honestly be a difference of just 1,000 people between South Carolina and the Tigers standards (most notably since 2014).

Historically, the Gamecocks are not worthy of even 60,000 fans being in their foes’ faces, let alone 80,000. They have never won a national title, and have failed to win a mere conference title since 1969. Meanwhile, their winning percentage is positive, but just barely.

It does not matter how good the Jadeveon Clowney days were, they did not make South Carolina worthy of an arena with such a dominating appearance.

But if the Gamecocks are not deserving of 80,000 seats, the final team on this list is certainly not deserving of over 100,000.
