Ole Miss Football: 3 teams the Rebels will blow out in 2021
What’s the saying about kicking someone when they’re down? Don’t do it? Well, Ole Miss is going to do that with Vanderbilt which could be riding a lengthy losing streak heading into this game and there’s a decent chance the Commodores will be winless in SEC play before the Nov. 20 matchup.
Vanderbilt went 0-9 last season and saw Derek Mason fired and Notre Dame defensive coordinator Clark Lea hired. He has his work cut out in 2021.
The Commodores had the No. 121 overall defense in the country and No. 110 offense last season and there’s probably not going to be a drastic improvement in 2021. Ken Seals is back at quarterback but he had an interception problem in 2020, throwing 10 picks to 12 touchdowns.
Ole Miss’ offense should have its way with the Commodores in Oxford here as this will be a nice confidence-boosting win to close out the home schedule, heading into a finale with rival Mississippi State.
This is another game in which the Rebels could approach that 60-point range.
