Buffalo football is looking to reload after one of the most successful seasons over the past decade. A 6-1 record and 17-10 win in the Camellia Bowl against Marshall.

The most attention the Bulls got last season was through their 70-point performance against Kent State. The game where running back Jaret Patterson, where he rushed for eight touchdowns.

The Bulls under Lance Leipold had among the best rushing games in the country while having a stingy defense while giving up just 21.9 points per game in 2020.

Buffalo’s roster and coaching staff has made a massive change in the off-season, led by Leipold taking the head coaching job at Kansas.

Many of the Buffalo players dashed for Lawrence, alongside left guard Jacob Gall, who transferred to Baylor for his final year.

The Bulls brought in Michigan co-defensive coordinator Maurice Linguist, to be the next head coach of the Bulls. He is one of the best recruiters in the country and brings a defensive demeanor, after being with the Dallas Cowboys in 2020 as the cornerbacks coach.

Even with the departures, the Bulls are a contender in the MAC, who bring back plentiful talent into the 2021 season.
