3. Kenyon Green, OL
Kenyon Green is the only returning starter on the Aggie offensive line and will be the leader of that group without question. Aggies expect there to not be much of a drop-off between the 2020 season of dominance and 2021.
For that to happen, Green has to really step up and break out as the star across that line. He is a strong blocker when it comes to making lanes for his running back and that is part of what made him a starter the past two seasons. Some of his highlights can be seen below and he will surely create more throughout the next year and — if Aggie fans are lucky — his senior year as well.

He is stout and dense, standing at 6’4 and 325 pounds, built well as a starting offensive lineman who could easily find his way up draft boards with a strong junior campaign. In a star-laden offense, look for Green to be that unsung hero that makes his offense really go.
2. Leon O’Neal Jr., DB
This pick is the first defensive player so far on this list. I could go with guys like DeMarvin Leal who made the trip with Jimbo Fisher to SEC Media Days, but that is expected as he has shown already that he is a force to be reckoned with.
With guys like Leon O’ Neal, we are waiting for those big breakout moments and I think that as a junior this year, it may just be the year for the hard-hitting safety out of Cypress. Some of his highlights can be seen in the video below.
O’Neal loves being an Aggie and that is clear to anyone who follows him on social media. He did consider a transfer but has since truly jumped headfirst into everything Aggieland, which is why he is my breakout candidate. I truly believe that he is ready to jump in this season and make a big impact on defense even grabbing a game-changing interception or two.
