Air Force Football has been one of the most consistent programs in the country and they hope the program continues that consistency in 2021

You might not know this fun fact, but Air Force Football has only missed 15 bowl games since 1982 and has ranked in the top10 of rushing offense 32 of the last 33 years.

The Falcons have become one of the models of consistency in college football and despite dealing with “Turnbacks” last season, they kept on going and finished the year 3-3, but did not go to a bowl game.

Even more importantly for Air Force football, it did not win the Commander in Chief’s trophy and that is what means the most to the program. This season, the Falcons are hoping to reverse their fortunes and get back to the postseason and get the Commander in Chief’s trophy back to Colorado Springs.

Fresh off of an 11-2 season and a bowl win, it looked like Air Force was about to be the dominant military football program in the country, but with COVID came difficulties and like a lot of other football programs, it was a challenging season for the Falcons. Air Force is set to get back some of their contributors from their 2019 team and they are also going to return most of their skill position talent from a year ago.

One thing that any team that runs the option does not want to hear is that their entire offensive line is going to be brand new.

That might be the biggest question mark facing Air Force this season and it could make things difficult since running the ball is this program’s bread and butter.

The Falcons always find a way to punch above their weight and play with the talent that they have and that is what makes them such a great program. This is going to be a tough team that nobody wants to play and that is how Air Force prefers it.
