Notre Dame will still be trying to pick up the pieces after a second straight loss and one that stunned the crowd in South Bend thanks to a last-second field goal by North Carolina which likely eliminated them from playoff consideration, but the Irish will bounce back big against Navy.

The Midshipmen usually play the Irish tough but this game won’t be all that close despite Ken Niumatalolo’s resurgence a couple of years ago.

Navy just doesn’t have the offense to keep up with Notre Dame. The Irish won’t even need to take it to the air in this one as Chris Tyree and Kyren Williams combine for over 250 yards and the Irish offense rushes for over 300. They’ll do what Navy does to just about everyone else and that’s run it down their throats.

Brian Kelly’s team comes out and plays angry here and takes its anger out on Navy en route to a 24-point win.

Final Score: Navy 14, Notre Dame 31 (7-2)
