After an extremely successful 2020, Texas A&M football is looking to capitalize on opportunities in 2021. How do the Aggies opponents rank by toughness?

Texas A&M football‘s 2020 season, in which their only loss was to Alabama, was capped off with an Orange Bowl win against North Carolina and now they are looking for more in 2021.

There will be a new quarterback leading the team, but overall it is looking like this team has the ability to compete in the SEC. How tough is their season? Who is a formidable opponent and who will be considered a cupcake? Let’s start at the bottom and work our way up.

12. Prairie View A&M

This game is fun for both teams — at least when it comes to halftime — as both schools have entertaining bands that will perform. However, during the actual football game, things may not be as fun for the visitors to Kyle Field in late November. Let’s just say that this will be a good game for the Aggies to host Senior Night as the likelihood of them losing this game is very slim.

11. Kent State

For a season opener, this one is great for those wearing Maroon and White — or in this case, red, white, and blue as the Aggies will be celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the game that immediately followed 9/11/2001 in which the entire stadium was full of fans dressed in the colors of the American flag. If you haven’t seen the picture of that game, I suggest you look it up.

Overall though, after a struggle of a spring for Kent State, I don’t anticipate this being a hard game for Texas A&M football. This should be a blowout and a half.
