4. Auburn

The Auburn Tigers are an interesting phenomenon for the Aggies this season for sure. They have moved on from the Gus Bus and have turned to Bryan Harsin out of Boise State. Harsin has never coached in the SEC before and it will be interesting to see how he deals with the SEC West slate.

I am not convinced that Bo Nix is the guy to take Auburn to the promised land either and I believe that he is just an average quarterback in the SEC. On that note, this may be a difficult game for the Aggies, but the fact that it is at Kyle Field will be a helpful boost that this team will need to come out winners.

3. Ole Miss

Lane Kiffin and the Ole Miss Rebels will host the Aggies in what is sure to be a shoot-out of sorts. Matt Corral and his offense proved a season ago that they can keep up with just about anyone offensively. So, this one will come down to if the Aggies can make some strong stops on defense and if the offense can keep up with the Rebels.

I am not convinced that Ole Miss’ defense can make enough stops to win this game, but with the questions at quarterback for the Aggies, who knows if Texas A&M football can keep up with them on that side of the ball.

I am confident in the Aggies run game and in the caliber of receivers, but there isn’t much experience at the quarterback position and that could be the Aggie’s downfall.
