In this week’s college football recruiting roundup Notre Dame Football, Texas A&M, and Oklahoma landed the biggest commitments of the week along with Michigan State.

The recruiting roundup will be a new staple of our coverage here at Saturday Blitz with a look at the five most important commitments, as well as the biggest winners/losers from the past week in college football recruiting.

Obviously, verbal commitments are the biggest news each week, but visits, cut lists, and misses are important too.

We’ll cover all that and more with the addition of two elite wideouts in 2022 for Notre Dame football, plus top-100 commitments for Texas A&M and Oklahoma, as well as a key in-state pickup for Michigan State football.

And our list of the five most impactful commitments starts with the Spartans:

Michigan State football has been on a roll lately on the recruiting trail and the addition of Jaden Mangham on Sunday brings another four-star recruit from the state of Michigan to the Spartans’ 2022 recruiting class.

Mangham is a 6-foot-3, 185-pound athlete from Franklin, Michigan, and is ranked 285th overall according to the 247 sports composite rankings. More importantly for the Spartans, he’s ranked seventh in the state which suddenly gives Mel Tucker and company three of the top-seven commitments for 2022 with a legit shot at landing Dillon Tatum.

West Virginia seemed to be the frontrunner from Mangham not long ago. However, the Spartans closed fast and with 19 pledges total, they are ranked 15th in the 2022 team recruiting rankings.
