If I was an Arkansas fan, this would be the game circled on my calendar. Last season’s heartbreaking loss to the Tigers was completely unavoidable, and if we’re going to be honest, it shouldn’t have happened but a refereeing mistake helped Auburn win. Bo Nix tried to spike the ball to stop the clock and he did so behind him which should have been called a fumble, recovered by Arkansas. OK, I swear I’ll stop talking about it.

Anyways, the Tigers should take another step back in 2021 with Gus Malzahn fired after a 6-5 season in 2020. Bryan Harsin will be decent at Auburn, but year one is going to be rough.

Arkansas is going to exact some revenge here.

Final Score: Auburn 27, Arkansas 30 (3-4, 1-3)

Fresh off their first SEC win, the Razorbacks will get a chance to build on that momentum with an almost sure-thing in Week 8 against Arkansas-Pine Bluff.

The Golden Lions don’t stand much of a chance here as Malik Hornsby and the Razorbacks will score at will and the defense will step up to hold UAPB to just one touchdown.

Arkansas climbs back to .500 on the season.

Final Score: Arkansas-Pine Bluff 10, Arkansas 42 (4-4)
