Arkansas Football: Game-by-game predictions for 2021 season
With one win to go before the Razorbacks can become bowl eligible, they’ll be forced to make the trip to Tuscaloosa to take on the best team in the conference, led by a Heisman candidate in Bryce Young.
The Alabama offense may return just three starters, but if anyone knows anything about Nick Saban and the Tide, it’s that they reload every year and are never truly in rebuilding mode. John Metchie, Young, and a loaded backfield will make sure the Tide take zero steps back after winning the national title in 2020.
Defensively, I see the Tide taking a massive step forward and being the best the SEC has to offer. This one won’t be all that close and the Razorbacks will need a win in the final game of the year to make a bowl.
Final Score: Arkansas 21, Alabama 49 (5-6, 2-5)
A road game at Missouri stands between Arkansas and a bowl berth and it’s not going to be easy, but the Razorbacks will exact revenge for the 50-48 loss in 2020.
Missouri will be one of the most improved teams in the conference and Eli Drinkwitz has the program trending in the right direction, but Sam Pittman and Co. are going to be just too motivated right here and they won’t go down without a fight.
Arkansas comes out firing and holds a comfortable lead throughout, punching its ticket to bowl season for the first time in five years.
Final Score: Missouri 23, Arkansas 34 (6-6, 3-5)
