Jayden Daniels for Heisman?

Every team’s success usually falls on the performance of the man under center, so it is safe to say that the Arizona State Sun Devils will go as far as Jayden Daniels leads them.

Daniels is a dual-threat quarterback, who despite only playing four games last season, showed improvement from an impressive freshman season. In 16 career games, Daniels has thrown 22 touchdown passes with over 3,600 yards, and he’s completed about 60 percent of his passes. Not to mention the fact that Daniels has only thrown three interceptions, and has added another seven touchdowns on the ground.

Expectations were high for Daniels and he has lived up to them. Now, all that is left is for him to lead his team to a conference title, and potentially, a berth in the College Football Playoff.

Daniels doesn’t have a lot of experience in his targets heading into 2021, but he does have talent.

And with a solid run game led by Rachaad White and Chip Trayanum, and with four starters returning on the offensive line, Daniels has everything he needs and more to put the Sun Devils at the top of the conference.
