#4: Oklahoma Sooners (11-1)

Are the aforementioned Georgia Bulldogs better than OU? Quite possibly. Would Georgia have a better chance of making an impact on the bracket than OU? That idea is also within reach of reality.

But nonetheless, one would ultimately be stuck deciding between a one-loss conference champ, and a two-loss conference runner-up. The Sooners may just get beat up on again, but no one can deny that fair is fair.

#3: Clemson Tigers (12-0)

And now we have officially encountered the first of three projected unbeaten. The ACC is on the come-up with previously-established names like UNC and Miami, but there is still no one in the league that can touch Clemson’s crown.

The Tigers will beat Georgia early, then likely proceed to beat everybody else in their way on even uglier terms. They will then be a 12-0 conference champion once again. Surprise!

#2: Ohio State Buckeyes (12-0)

The Bucks also “suffer” from being in a conference that fails to compete with them, yet the consensus is that the Big Ten is superior to the ACC.

With that in mind, along with being the national championship runner-up, the Buckeyes should both begin and conclude their run placed above Clemson in the rankings.

#1: Alabama Crimson Tide (12-0)

Who could’ve seen this one coming? Just about everyone, actually.

The Tide should be a lock for preseason No. 1 for being defending champions alone. However, they always make sure to not leave the people wanting more.

Not only is Alabama the defending champ, but they earned such a title by torching literally every poor son of a gun that stood in their way. After doing so, their recruiting was still top-notch, and Nick Saban was still the greatest college football coach to ever live.

Quite frankly, to not put the Crimson Tide in the top spot would be a crime, and I’m not trying to go to jail anytime soon.
