Mack Brown, North Carolina football keep rolling

Right now, North Carolina football fans have plenty of reasons to be excited. The Tar Heels have one of the top quarterbacks in the country and are poised for their best season in recent memory under Mack Brown.

On top of that, the future for North Carolina football under Brown looks brighter and brighter. The Tar Heels have been recruiting at a blue-chip level and this past week took it to another level with the commitment of Travis Shaw, the fourth overall recruit in the 2022 class.

Shaw chose the Tar Heels over Clemson, Georgia, and North Carolina A&T. Shaw actually received a crystal ball projection for the HBCU school, however, Shaw ultimately picked the Tar Heels in a massive recruiting win for Brown.

Shaw is the first five-star recruit in North Carolina’s 2022 class which now ranks 13th overall in the 247 team rankings. However, of the 13 prospects committed for the Tar Heels in 2022, eight of them are four-star recruits or better and that’s the kind of talent you need to win.
