Aug. 28. Los Angeles, Calif.. Hawaii Rainbow Warriors. 1. player. 898. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

Hawaii’s offense may cause some problems here, but I think UCLA’s defense will be that much improved from last season that Chevan Cordeiro won’t be able to burn it for too much.

The Rainbow Warriors may score the first touchdown of the game, but it’ll be all Bruins after that in a three-touchdown route in Los Angeles to kick off the 2021 season. This will be everyone’s first taste of college football for the season and UCLA won’t disappoint.

I’m expecting a big game from Dorian Thompson-Robinson here.

Final Score: Hawaii 21, UCLA 42 (1-0)

This is quite the follow-up battle for UCLA after facing mid-level Mountain West foe Hawaii in the first game, but that doesn’t mean the Bruins are going to be pounded into the ground.

In fact, I think UCLA is going to surprise some people in this Week 1 battle, taking LSU down to the wire and nearly pulling off the upset of the Tigers.

Ed Orgeron’s squad gets the last laugh — just barely.

Final Score: LSU 21, UCLA 27 (1-1)
