I’m a big believer that Jimmy Lake is going to continue the momentum built by Chris Petersen before him and he’s going to win some big games in Seattle, and this might just be one of them.

After a 3-0 start to conference play and 5-1 mark overall, the Bruins might be approaching ranked territory and this could be a Top 25 battle in mid-October. The Huskies, led by Dylan Morris, will get all they can handle from the Bruins in this mid-season battle but they will get the last laugh.

The Bruins will put up a fight and the defense will make some plays, but a late turnover will spoil a comeback effort.

Final Score: UCLA 27, Washington 31 (5-2, 3-1)

Mario Cristobal is building something special in Eugene and he just named a starting quarterback in veteran Anthony Brown. The Ducks’ offense has an elite receiving corps along with a talented backfield and a defense that might end up being the best in the Pac-12.

Oregon is going to likely be the favorite to win the conference and they’ll hand the Ducks their second straight loss here. But this will be a high-scoring affair.

Final Score: Oregon 41, UCLA 34 (5-3, 3-2)
