College Football 2021: Top 3 under-the-radar games to watch in Week 1

After an odd season a year ago due to COVID-19 and a long offseason, college football is back. After a small appetizer of Week 0 games, Week 1 looks to deliver a main course helping filled with a lot of tantalizing matchups.

Fans are just itching to getting back to watching college football this weekend. Whether you are attending a tailgate and game in person for the first time in two years or just plan on propping yourself on the couch to watch every game you can, there are some great ones across the nation that should keep your interest.

There is the talk across the college football landscape of the usual suspects. Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State, and Oklahoma. And, of course, rightfully so to talk about the big boys. Until proven otherwise, these teams are the heavy favorites to make the College Football Playoff this year.

Week 1 delivers five Top 25 matchups, including the top-five ranked Clemson versus Georgia battle in Charlotte. The game should be the most-watched one of the weekend.

Besides those exciting games and watching your own team, there are some other games fans of college football in general should at least keep a watchful eye on. These games involve a Top 25 team versus an unranked opponent. The potential for an upset exists in addition to some interesting storylines and players to watch.
