Boise State football is finally back and things won’t be easy to kick off the season as the Broncos will travel down to Orlando to take on UCF at the Bounce House on Thursday night.

This is going to be one of the best games of the opening weekend as both teams bost potentially explosive offenses and this figures to be a shootout.

Both of these teams are also vying for position to represent the Group of Five in a New Year’s Six bowl this season and whoever wins this game will have an early leg up.

Let’s get bold ahead of Thursday night’s big Group of Five battle.

3. George Holani rushes for over 100 yards

Having a healthy George Holani back is going to be huge for Boise State. The Broncos only had him for three games last season before an injury and Andrew Van Buren took over. Now, Boise State has him back at 100 percent and added Oregon transfer Cyrus Habibi-Likio as insurance.

Holani is going to have a heck of a return against a UCF defense that ranked 93rd against the run and 123rd in total defense a year ago.

The last game Holani played last season was against Utah State and he ran for exactly 100 yards and the junior will break that mark against the Knights, picking up 120-plus yards and a touchdown. Habibi-Likio will add 50 yards rushing and Boise State will move the ball relatively well on the ground which will help establish the pass.
