College football is back, folks.

We got an appetizer in Week 0 with some interesting games such as Nebraska vs. Illinois and UCLA vs. Hawaii, but they were just that — appetizers.

Now the main course is here. Georgia and Clemson, Alabama versus Miami, and Notre Dame facing Florida State are just a few of the intriguing matchups of the opening weekend and college football fans are drooling over the Week 1 slate.

This season is even more intriguing for fans because sports betting has become legal in many states and people can now bet from the comfort of their own homes on sites and apps such as WynnBET, where we will use all of our odds.

If you’re like me, you can’t wait to throw a few bucks on a parlay and I’m going to offer suggestions of what I believe will be the five best bets of the opening weekend.

Make your pick now on WynnBET.

5. Georgia ML (+125) vs. Clemson

I know you’re probably thinking of me as a crazy person for saying that Georgia’s moneyline against Clemson is one of the best bets of the weekend, but I truly believe that the Bulldogs are being overlooked heading into this one.

Everyone is just assuming that Clemson will just cruise to victory over Georgia because the Tigers are a staple of the College Football Playoff under Dabo Swinney while Kirby Smart has made the playoff just one time, losing to Alabama in a thrilling national title game. But one appearance compared to Clemson’s yearly invites has a lot of fans assuming a win for the Tigers here.

Not so fast, my friend.

JT Daniels has the experience and I think Georgia is absolutely loaded and is going to shock college football in Week 1, downing Clemson which may very well be the national title favorite.

Plus, how can you say “no thanks” to +125 odds in a toss-up game?
