3. Alabama (-19.5) vs. Miami

Miami has a heck of a non-conference slate, starting off with Alabama and then following that up with App State and Michigan State. Not many Power Five teams have that type of tough non-conference schedule, but the Hurricanes will be battle-tested before getting to ACC play.

OK, so they’ll either be battle-tested or completely beat down?

After losing to Alabama in the opener by three-plus touchdowns, it’ll be tough to tell.

The Crimson Tide open 2021 as arguably the favorites to win the national title and a team that will probably run the table in the regular season. They have Bryce Young at quarterback and many believe he will be one of the top Heisman contenders and he has a loaded backfield behind him, elite targets, and a top-tier defense to help him out.

Things are going to get ugly for Miami because of all of the above.

Alabama is going to be typical Alabama in the opener and I think that 19.5-point spread is being generous to Miami. This game shouldn’t be that close.
