1. Texas A&M vs. Kent State (Over 67.5)

This is probably my favorite bet of the weekend and while this is a mere suggestion and I’m not telling you what to do with your money, I’d be very confident in this one.

Texas A&M has one of the better offenses in the SEC, led by Isaiah Spiller who will be a Heisman contender at running back this season, a strong receiving corps, and dual-threat quarterback Haynes King who everyone seems to be excited about. The Aggies should put up some points against a defense that ranked 80th a season ago.

On the flip side, Kent State had the top scoring offense and total offense in college football last season. No, that’s not a typo, the Golden Flashes averaged over 600 yards and nearly 50 points per game last season and they return eight starters on that side of the ball.

Sure, Texas A&M will boast the best defense Kent State has seen in years, but this offense still has the potential to put up some points. Even if they score in the 20-30 range, all Texas A&M would have to do is approach 40ish points which should be a lock if Kent State’s defense continues that same trend from last year.

This should be a high-scoring affair in College Station, maybe like a 48-24 final which would creep right past that over of 67.5.
