3. Georgia has more experience at quarterback

Everyone knows that quarterback is the most important position in football and that it separates the elite teams from the pretenders. Last season, Georgia did not get solid quarterback play until the end of the season when JT Daniels was finally cleared to come back from his knee injury.

Daniels started his first season at USC in 2018 and was going to be their quarterback until he had a knee injury that ended his 2019 season. After transferring to UGA, Daniels had to sit most of last season and watch the other quarterbacks struggle until he was ready. Once Daniels was inserted into the starting lineup, the Georgia offense opened up and became a much more powerful passing attack.

While Uiagalelei might be more talented, Daniels has more experience and that could come into play if this game is close. Both quarterbacks are Heisman contenders and should have big games, but look for Daniels’s experience to shine in this game.
