2. Georgia will have the better running game

It is not unlike Georgia to have a strong running game and a strong stable of backs, but the Bulldogs have four running backs that they can lean on if they need to in this game. James Cook can change any game with his speed and playmaking ability, Zamir White has the most power of the backs, Kendall Milton is solid all around and Kenny McIntosh has speed to burn.

All four of these guys make up what might be the best backfield in the country.

Clemson has some uncertainty surrounding their running game with the departure of Etienne. Lyn-J Dixon is going to be the starter, but he is not on the same level that Etienne was and does not bring the same explosion to the offense that he did. A name to keep an eye on will be true freshman Will Shipley who was one of the top running back recruits in 2021 and brings a good all-around game that none of the other backs quite possess.

If the game is close late, look for either team to try and lean on their running game to close the game out. Georgia football has the edge in both talent and depth at the position and that will be another reason I give the Bulldogs the edge on Saturday night.
