The legendary Lee Corso is back for the 2021 college football season, and he made his classic headgear prediction for this top 5 showdown.

The 2021 college football season is officially upon us. Week one is loaded with some big time opening contests, such as Alabama vs Miami, Penn State vs Wisconsin, and LSU vs UCLA.

The biggest goes down tonight in the home of the NFL’s Carolina Panthers in Charlotte, NC.

3rd ranked Clemson football tangles with 5th ranked Georgia at 7:30 tonight on ABC, and the ESPN College Gameday crew were on hand to preview the game this morning and celebrate with Tiger and Dawg fans.

From Dabo vs Kirby and JT vs DJ, there are so many storylines in this massive game. This will no doubt have College Football Playoff implications for both teams going forward.

Last year on College Gameday, the legendary Lee Corso was not on set for any of the broadcasts due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This year, college football fans are blessed that Corso has returned to the table alongside Rece Davis, Desmond Howard, Kirk Herbstreit, and the rest of the crew, as he brings back his iconic one liners like “not so fast my friend!”

Of course, his memorable head gear picks are what fans want to see, and he made a big one for Georgia-Clemson.

In the final moments of the show, Corso picked the Georgia Bulldogs to take down the Tigers today.

His fellow co-host Desmond Howard picked Clemson, and celebrity picker Kane Brown picked Georgia as well.

Georgia has a buzz about them this year with QB JT Daniels returning to the team. Last year, he went 4-0 as a started while throwing for over 1,000 yards and 10 touchdowns in his limited action.

He will be without his number one receiver George Pickens, who tore his ACL in spring practice this year.
