1. Texas A&M has one of the best running back rooms in the country

Texas A&M is returning two of the best running backs I have seen come through this program since Trayveon Williams took Aggieland by storm for three seasons.

Isaiah Spiller and Devon Achane are one of the best 1-2 punches in the country. They finished each with over 100 yards rushing, Achane with 124 and Spiller with 113. Achane scored twice and likely was not even running at full speed.

These two are running behind a new-look offensive line that is still figuring things out and that makes these numbers all that more impressive to me.

There are other strong running back rooms across the SEC, that much is true, but if you aren’t watching the Aggies just for these two players, you are doing it wrong, y’all.
